Reservation process: We
recommend that you send your deposit in early to ensure space.
We will send you a receipt/invoice acknowledging
your tour deposit and indicating the balance due with the final
payment date. We do not mail another reminder. We will also enclose
an insurance
information and policy statement, confidential emergency contact
form. Please complete these and return with your final payment.
When we receive your final payment, we will mail several items
to you:
1) A final payment receipt and a tour joining sheet confirming
your pick up location and time, also advises you of the estimated
return
time. 2) A list of hotels with address and telephone numbers. We
recommend that you make copies and leave them with friends and
relatives. 3) A general information sheet with suggested clothing
and items
to bring for your comfort.
Pre-
and/or post- tour arrangements: We offer a special rate for
those passengers desiring pre-and/or post-tour hotel accommodations.
Arrangements will be made on request. These charges are not included
in tour price and must be settled directly with hotel.
Credit
cards: We accept VISA and MASTERCARD.
Refunds,
travel insurance and cancellations: Trip insurance is now
included on most tours. Please note, the insurance premium is non-refundable
if you cancel the trip after final payment due date (usually 30-45
days prior to departure.)
Centennial TravelPoints regrets having to cancel any tour. It's disappointing
to you if the trip you were planning on is cancelled due to underenrollment.
It's disappointing to us if we can't accommodate your wishes to join
a departure date. Help us avoid cancellations by signing up early
and encouraging your friends to also reserve early. Remember, our
deposit requirements are reasonable and fully refundable if Centennial
must cancel a tour.
On-tour
policies: For the comfort of all passengers, no smoking
or consumption of alcohol is permitted on motor coaches. Stops
are
scheduled at least every two to two and a half hours. Seat rotation
will be conducted on a twice daily basis to afford all passengers
a variety of views.
Consumer
protection: The travel industry is unregulated and it's
important to check credentials. Centennial TravelPoints carries professional
liability insurance which covers business errors and
omissions. We belong to the National Tour Association and to their
Consumer Protection Plan which protects your deposits and payments
in the event of your tour operator's bankruptcy.
Centennial TravelPoints reserves the right to:
* Alter the itinerary of a tour for the comfort and safety of our
passengers and provide reasonable
substitution of accommodations or activities.
* Decline to accept or retain any tour member should such person's
health, mental condition, physical handicap or general deportment
impede the operation of the tour, or the rights, welfare or enjoyment
of other tour members.
* Cancel a tour due to lack of participation.
